Being a well respected Local Licensed Building Practitioner, Registered Master Joiner and Furniture Maker, - Phil combines his craft traditions with 40+ years of knowledge and experience in Project Management in Specialized Architectural Rebuild, Renovations, Heritage Restorations. Currently Phil & Maree are building their own new home in Mapua.

Phil & Maree Agnew own, run and operate Decade Homes from their studio and workshop which is located in the beautiful Founders Heritage Park, 87 Atawhai Drive "The Siding Workshop" @ The Platform Gallery - 31 Field Street, Nelson. We are often in and out, depending on which projects we are managing, - so its best to text us first if you plan to pop in.

All our Furniture is handcrafted by Registered Master Craftsman Phil, using Solid NZ Timber and Resene Eco-Friendly Paint.
Sustainable New Zealand Radiata creates an authentic look and feel. Visible grain, apparent through the paint finish, is an inherent characteristic of solid wood construction.
Our furniture is extraordinarily beautiful and innovative for the modern age. Combining elegant reconstructions from the bygone era, designed to be used with the timeless quality that will last beyond fashion trends and to become someone's antique in future years.
As we make to order, any piece below can be customised to specification allowing personalisation of size, paint colour and hardware. We ship all over NZ, so please enquire about freight costs.
The colour shown mostly in our collection is Resene Eco-Friendly Lustacryl “Wan White” .. The price will vary slightly if any piece is customized from the sizes shown. Benchtops are available in golden aged beech, and dark aged beech with the option of stainless steel for the kitchen blocks.
